2017 Meißen Kloster Heilig Kreuz Riesling Spätlese VDP.Erste Lage, Saxony/Sachsen, Germany

Prominent vegetal and light floral notes on the nose, partly candied yellow fruit with herbaceous notes, hint of wine gum and hint of yellow spice with mineral notes. Sweet and sour, somewhat perfumed fruit, floral notes, wine gum, yellow and a little dark berries and again wine gum, lively acidity, some tannin, a hint of bacon, quite a good finish.
