1999 Randersacker Pfülben Riesling Spätlese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Nose still very closed, mineral notes, aromas of apple and citrus, with still undeveloped peach. Juicy, quite concentrated fruit, not completely dry, very harmonious acidity, persistent mineral spice on the palate, style strongly influenced by terroir, very good balance, long finish. Very difficult to assess at this stage, will probably still improve.
