2010 Wachau Chardonnay Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Vegetal, earthy and nutty notes on the nose, tart yellow fruit, hint of rowanberries, mineral notes, rubbery traces. Some rubber again and rowanberries on the palate, fairly creamy and slightly off-dry fruit, prominent nutty notes, elegant, fairly lively acidity, medium body, slightly lacking in contours, sweetish, fairly good finish. Still some uncertainty as to its future development.
