2016 Billigheim Venusbuckel Riesling Spätlese trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Vegetal, herbaceous and floral notes on the nose, hint of petrol, ripe yellow fruit, fairly prominent mineral notes. Firm, fairly juicy, bone dryfruit on the palate, yeasty as well as chalky mineral notes, very elegant, lively acidity, ripe tannins provide firm grip, concentrated and persistent, light nutty notes, some depth, compact structure very good, firm, tart finish. In much better condition than the first sample.
