2015 Thüngersheim Johannisberg Silvaner Grosses Gewächs trocken Rothlauf, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly concentrated nose, light nutty and vegetal notes, pineapple and pomaceous fruit, minty traces, light floral and earthy notes. Fairly firm and full-bodied on the palate, dried vegetal and earthy notes, light nutty oak, lively, slightly lemony acidity, persistent, creamy, but also has grip, minty traces in the background, noticeable, but fairly well integrated alcohol, still young, some depth, salty notes, herbs and spices on a very good, grippy, ripe, juicy finish.

Fairly firm, surprisingly cool ripe, polished fruit on the palate, yeasty, light herbaceous and mineral notes, very elegant acidity, restrained integrated tannins, persistent, good depth, floral traces, still largely undeveloped, slightly noticeable warm alcohol on a very good, polished finish.
