2018 Thüngersheim Scharlachberg Riesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart nose, dried vegetal, herbaceous and floral notes, restrained yellow fruit, warm nutty traces, fairly prominent mineral notes. Ripe, fairly juicy, slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, ripe tannins provide some grip, fairly lively acidity, persistent, some depth, chalky and salty mineral notes, hint of dark berries, good to very good, juicy, gripping finish.
