2017 Grauburgunder Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly cool nose, light nutty and dried vegetal notes, partly candied yellow frit, delicate floral traces. Youthful, straightforward fruit on the palate, still quite yeasty, delicate spicy oak, hint of rhubarb, touch of star anise, very elegant lively acidity, some grip, clear contours, quite concentrated and persistent, some coffee and dark chocolate, very light tannic grip, light mineral notes, full body, very good, slightly peppery finish.
