2016 Zell Klosterstück Spätburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Light nutty notes on the nose, hint of tobacco, touch of red berries, light animal notes and some undergrowth, hint of chocolate, earthy notes. Ripe, fairly soft, partly preserved fruit on the palate, nutty oak with a hint of chocolate and some coffee, integrated sandy tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, fairly persistent, ethereal notes, some more toasted notes and chocolate on a warm finish.
