The estate is located in the municipality of Leimen (Badische Bergstraße area) Heidelberg in the German growing region to bathe, The traditional company was founded by Andres Seeger in 1707 and is now being continued by Thomas Seeger in the 13th generation of families. His motto or creed is “Wine must taste good. Our wines are made from tradition and do not follow any trend ”. The vineyards cover 9.5 hectares of vineyards in a single location Herrenberg, They are planted with the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Auxerrois and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir and Black Riesling. The management follows the guidelines of the Organic viticulture, For quality reasons, there is a strong reduction in yield. The red wines are partly in French for up to 22 months barriques expanded. Depending on the quality, they are identified on the bottle label with the codes S, R, RR or RRR. The premium wines include "Grauer Burgunder Oberklamm", "Riesling Oberklamm" and "Spätburgunder GG Spermen". Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of German barrique forum and since 2010 at VDP (Association of German quality wine estates).
