The traditional winery is located in the municipality Oberstinkenbrunn south of Retz in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Weinviertel, It was founded in 1849 and is now run by Josef and Christ in the fifth generation of the family and in the sixth by Hannes, Stefan and Lisa Seifried. The vineyards cover 13 hectares of vineyards in, for example, the vineyards Altenberg and Lange Heide. They are planted to 80% with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner (Leitsorte), Riesling, Chardonnay, Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc, and to 20% with the red varieties Zweigelt and St. Laurent.
