2016 Ilbesheim Pinot Noir VDP.Ortswein trocken "Concretus", Pfalz, Germany

Nutty, tobacco-like, some dried-vegetable and hinted smoky scent of predominantly black berries and cherries with mushroom and slightly peppery notes. Straightforward, tart and yet elegantly juicy fruit with nutty and slightly spicy oak, fine sandy, predominantly mature tannins, fairly good persistence, earthy and mineral notes, good to very good, slightly peppery and smoky, some more astringent finish.
