The estate is located in the municipality of Windesheim in the German wine-growing region Near, The family has been growing wine for over 200 years. The company is run by the brothers Markus and Johannes Sinß (oenological training in Geisenheim ) that are supported by the parents. The vineyards cover 13 hectares of vineyards in the Windesheimer locations Römerberg, Rosenberg and Sonnenmorgen. They are over 90% Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, the rest are planted with other varieties. The selective work in the vineyard forms the foundation for physiologically mature and healthy grapes that are processed in the cellar in an extremely gentle manner. Depending on the type of wine, the white wines are fermented and expanded in steel tanks, casks or 500-liter casks. The red wines mature after maceration in large wooden barrels and in barriques. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the Generation Riesling winegrowers' association.
