Nutty nose, light toasted notes, hint of tobacco, ripe, partly preserved dark berries and cherries, earthy and dried vegetal aromas. Ripe, juicy, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, toasted oak and chocolate, some dried herbs in the background, salty traces, good substance and persistence, full-bodied, spicy notes, integrated sandy tanins, some depth, light bite, more toasted oak on a very good ripe, juicy finish.

Editor note: Tart nose, light spicy oak, earthy notes, black berries, hint of tobacco, some juniper and coffee. Ripe, juicy, tart fruit on the palate, nutty, slightly smoky toasted oak, some cocoa, light acid bite, fine sandy tannins, still slightly astringent, good substance and persistence, hint of bacon, some grip, currently still slightly brittle, spicy notes in the background, very good finish. Needs more time to mature.
