2017 Geisenheim Kläuserweg Riesling Erstes Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Fairly firm nose, herbaceous and light peppery notes, touch of yellow spice, yellow fruit, partly dried floral notes, fairly prominent mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, fairly sweet fruit on the palate, red berries and some sugar candy, light floral and herbaceous aromas, elegant, lively acidity, good persistence, creamy and oily notes, some more pepper, light phenolic notes, slightly muted, very good sweet, creamy, spicy finish. Really does not need the sugar.
