2016 Spätburgunder trocken R, Ahr, Germany

Very slightly sharp nose, vegetal and light spicy notes, partly preserved mixed berries, mixed pickles, blood orange, peppery traces, noticeable high alcohol. Warm, smoky, earthy, vegetal notes on the palate, hint of bacon, preserved fruit, loads of alcohol, slightly dusty, astringent tannins, dark chocolate and tobacco, hint of mushrooms, heavy, rustic style, alcoholic anf´jammy again on the finish.
