Editor note: Firm, fairly mature nose, light earthy notes, hint of undergrowth and tobacco, predominantly black berries, light toasted and peppery traces. Firm, tart, ripe, dark fruit on the palate, lots of toasted oak, some dark chocolate, persistent and full-bodied, hint of bacon and tobacco, dark chocolate and some coffee, herbaceous traces, hint of citrus zests, good substance and persistendce, some depth, very good, firm finish.

The growing area is located in the state of Baden-Württemberg Germany, The vineyards cover 11,461 hectares of vineyards, which are between the Lake Constance and the valley of the Tauber below Rothenburg (Taubergrund).
