The estate is located in the municipality of Merdingen (Tuniberg area) in the German wine-growing region
to bathe, It was founded in 1988 by Edgar Bärmann and Conrad Isele. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Buehl (Merdingen),
Rotgrund (Niederrimsing) and
Schlossberg (Achkarren). They are planted with the red varieties Pinot Noir (about 50% of the total) and Merlot, and with the white varieties Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Muscat, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. It is practiced a natural, environmentally friendly management.
The grapes are processed gently after selective hand-picking. The wines are vinified typical of the location and vintage. The reds are ripening after the
maceration in traditional wooden barrels or barrique. In the case of the predominantly dry white wines, careful attention is paid to a complete fermentation. The premium wines include the red wines Spätburgunder Remigius and Spätburgunder Auslese, as well as the white wines Riesling Niederrimsinger Rotgrund and Chardonnay Achkarrer Schlossberg. There are also rosé wines and
Weißherbste, on
Blanc de noirs, bottle-fermented sect and various tester fires produced. One and a half hectares of its own distillery produce many fine schnapps from pome and stone fruit.
