2015 Rhodt Rosengarten Pinot Noir trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm nose, light spicy oak, ripe mixed berries and cherries, some cocoa, herbaceous and delicate yeasty aromas, floral traces, spice, earthy and mineral notes. Clear, cool, polished, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, some smoky oak, hint of spicy cocoa, very fine tannins, persistent, has grip and some depth, earthy and chalky mineral notes in the background, firm structure, still largely undeveloped, light salty and spicy notes, some more spicy oak on a very good firm, very juicy, minerally finish.
