2016 Rhodt Klosterpfad Syrah trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Clear nose, light vegetal notes, delicate peppery traces, black berries and a few cherries and tomatoes, fresh vegetal notes, delicate hint of mushrooms. Clear, tart, fresh fruit on the palate, dark spicy oak, firm sandy tannins, some coffee and dark chocolate, citrus zests in the background, salty traces, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, acid bite, slightly unripe tomatoes, more citrus notes on a good to very good fresh, juicy finish.
