2017 Großheubach Bischofsberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm nose, light smoky, nutty oak, red and black berries, hint of tobacco, tart vegetal notes reminiscent of capers. Clear, tart, fairly cool fruit on the palate, still slightly yeasty, vegetal and salty notes, lively acidity, youthful tannins, prominent mineral notes, some bite, good depth, still young, fresh style, very good, firm, juicy, elegantly spicy, mineral finish.
