The estate is located in the commune of Statzendorf in the Kuffern wine region in the wine-growing region Traisental (NE). It was founded in 1987 by Johann and Michaela Steyrer. The handover to son Bernhard Steyrer took place in 2010; In 2012 the company moved into a new production building with a modern wine cellar. The vineyards cover 7 hectares of their own vineyards in Rieden Point, Rampl and Stoaried. Another 1.5 hectares are leased and grapes are purchased from 1.5 hectares. The white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Gelber Muskateller, as well as the red varieties Zweigelt and Roesler are cultivated. The management is based on the environmentally friendly criteria of KIP (Controlled Integrated Production). The yield-reduced grapes are processed gently, including the natural gradient during transport. The expansion of the wines takes place with the aim of pure, aromatic wines.
