, It was founded in 1881 by Josef Fidel Stigler. Initially, this covered the needs of its station economy in Freiburg. After the station and the Stigler's home were completely bombed in 1945, Rudolf Stigler moved with his family to the weekend house in Ihringen and devoted himself exclusively to viticulture. Since 1991, the estate is managed by Andreas and Regina Stigler in the fourth generation of the family. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Eichberg
(Freiburg), as well as Fohrenberg and Winklerberg
(Ihringen). They are planted with the varieties Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Silvaner, Traminer, Müller-Thurgau, Sauvignon Blanc and Scheurebe. The winery is a member of VDP
