The estate is located in the municipality Ellerstadt (area Mittelhaardt-German Wine Route) in the German wine-growing region palatinate
, Sibylle and Reinhard Studier took over after their studies in 1995 as then lateral entrants the parental estate. The vineyards cover about 28 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Hofstück (Deidesheim), Bischofsgarten (forest), and Bubeneck and Kirchenstück
(Ellerstadt). They are planted with the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Auxerrois, Morio-Muscat and Müller-Thurgau, as well as the red varieties Dornfelder, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Dorsa, St. Laurent, Dunkelfelder and Cabernet Sauvignon. All activities in the cellar pursue the goal to preserve the primary fruit flavors in the wine in its purest form. The white wines are fermented to a gentle pressure and sharp must clarification fermented and developed almost reductive. The red wines are developed after the mash fermentation, post-maceration and malolactic fermentation in older barriques with the aim of soft tannin. The in-house catering service "Leib & Seele" hosts events such as weddings, company celebrations and birthdays on the estate and in the vaulted cellar.
