2016 Landwein Rosé Sophia, Baden, Germany

Slightly reductive nose, yeasty notes, nutty, vegetal and herbaceous notes, spicy traces, whiff of red berries. Tart fruit on the palate, yeasty and peppery traces, fairly prominent acidity, integrated sandy tannins, still slightly astringent, hint of anise, fairly persistent, waxy notes in the background, fairly fresh on a good finish with chalky and salty notes.
