2015 Wachau Ried Kellerberg Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Tart nose, dried vegetal notes and tobacco, vegetal and earthy notes, intense mineral notes, mature yellow fruit, dried floral traces, peppery traces. Ripe, very firm, partly candied tart fruit on the palate, lively acidity, vegetal notes, some tobacco, intense stony, salty mineral notes, persistent and grippy, full-bodied, but not heavy, some flintstone in the background, quite concentrated, deep, complex, long finish. Needs time to mature.
