2015 Wachau Ried Steinertal Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Touch of root vegetables and mustard oin the nose, yeasty and earthy notes, light volatile and lactic notes, restrained yellow fruit, herbs, prominent mineral notes, hint of bacon. Delicately sweetish, creamy fruit on the palate, more light lactic and volatile notes, some root vegetables, nutty notes and caramel, preserved apricots and peaches, good substance and persistence, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, yellow spice in the background, celery, yeasty, acidity not yet fully integrated, slightly muted by light tannins, fairly broad style, but also has depth and a mineral backbone, still totally undeveloped, vegetal notes and yellow spice on a very good sweetish, creamy finish.
