2008 Süd-Steiermark Ried Sernau Sauvignon Blanc trocken Erste Lage STK®, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Prominent grassy notes and bell peppers on the nose, yellow and green fruit, some artichoke, prominent mineral notes, delicate hint of oak. Firm, clean and bone dry on the palate, clear, juicy fruit, extremely elegant acidity, persistent, again a hint of oak in the background, mineral notes, good depth, very good finish. Currently in an interim phase, will proably be even better by the end of the year.
