2011 Süd-Steiermark Berghausen trocken Die Weinbank Selektion #3, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Delicately smoky-woody, tart, fresh, vegetal nose with cool yellow fruit aromas, some herbs, legumes, light floral notes and prominent, slightly earthy mineral notes. Firm-looking, still youthful, elegant, juicy and tart fruit on the palate, yeasty and light nutty notes, hint of wood, elegant, firm acidity, some tannic touch, persistent on the palate, quite deep and compact, light tobacco notes, prominent, slightly salty Mineral and delicately tart herbal aromas, fine mushroom notes, very good finish with some creaminess and more nuts. Must continue to mature.
