2014 Süd-Steiermark Morillon trocken Muschelkalk, STK Klassik, Gutswein, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Fairly tart nose, earthy and light vegetal notes, hint of bacon, restrained citrus and pomaceous fruit, peppery traces, hint of pulses. Firm, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, prominent spicy vegetal notes, light herbaceous notes and green pepper, lively acidity, fairly prominent fine sandy tannins, persistent, still largely undeveloped, firm grip, some depth, cool and juicy on a very good finish. Needs time to mature.
