The estate is located in the municipality of Flemlingen (southern wine route area) in the German wine-growing region palatinate, The wine cellar dates from the 15th century and belonged at that time as a tithe cellar (Zehntkeller) the Count von der Leyen. The winery has been run for over six generations by Theo and wife Martina and daughter Regine Minges. The vineyards cover 25 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Rosenkranz (Böchingen), Schlossgarten (Burrweiler), Herrenbuckel, bird jump and Zechpeter (Flemlingen), hell (Gleisweiler), Letten (Hainfeld), and Silberberg (Walsheim).
