2018 Grauburgunder trocken, Baden, Germany

Light spicy and vegetal notes on the nose, dried herbs, some undergrowth, stone fruit, nutty and light smoky traces, hint of mushrooms. Nutty, fairly tart fruit on the palate, some sugar candy and a hint of lemon verbena, elegant acidity, fairly persistent, light spicy oak, hint of coffee in the background, salty traces, slightly creamy on a good finish, develops more bite iwth aeration.
