The family winery is located in the municipality of Theyern in the Lower Austrian wine region Traisental, The Dockner family has been wine-growing in Theyern for four generations. It is run by Thomas Dockner, actively supported by his wife Silke and his parents Gerhard and Elfriede. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vineyards in the Hochschopf, Parapluiberg, Pletzengraben and the highest-lying Ried Theyerner Berg vineyards at 370 to 410 meters above sea level. You are on many little ones plots and terraced vineyards divided in the Traisental. There are 90% white wine varieties Green Valtellina. Riesling and Traminer, as well as 10% the red wine varieties Zweigelt and Pinot Noir cultured. Grapes are purchased from contract winemakers from a further three hectares. The vineyards are very close to nature and sustained farmed. Between Rows of vines a specially composed herbal mixture grows with many beneficials, By hand foliage care will be a cheap little one climate created in the vine wall itself and by the Compost cycle for healthy and vital vines taken care of. The objective is regional and varietal To produce wines. The wines are stored for a very long time to achieve a characterful and independent style. The site wines Pletzengraben and Hochschopf are bottled gently after a year at the earliest. The premium wines include Rieslings and Grüner Veltliner (Classic and Reserve) with different names of the vineyards. Naturally cloudy fruit juices (apple, apple carrot, pear) and fine brandies (fruit, grapes) are also produced.
