2004 trocken Leithaberg, Burgenland, Austria

Blackberries and blueberries on the nose, clean and cool, mineral as well as some delicate smoky notes. Very clear on the palate, too, juicy and concentrated, with delicate roasted oak and fairly prominent, very fine tannins, some herbaceous notes, mineral notes and a hint of malt, good depth and persistence, firm structure, still young, juicy, quite complex and long finish.
