2005 trocken Leithaberg, Burgenland, Austria

Editor note: Initially light red berries and some vegetal notes on the nose, roasted notes, then develops mineral notes in the glass, also depth, clarity and spicy notes. On the palate initially green vegetal notes and oak, red berries, initially dominated by the oak, some cedary and astringent tannins, still appears very closed and light-bodied, with aeration also shows depth, elegance and mineral notes, very good, long finish. Keeps on improving for several days, the oak becomes amazingly well itnegrated, increases in depth and length, becomes more racy - will be interesting to see its further development.
