The Jost family has been growing wine for almost two centuries. The vineyards cover a total of 12 hectares of vineyards in two German growing areas. In both the winery is member of the VDP
(Verband deutscher Prädikatsweingüter). The current owner in the fifth generation of the family is Dipl. Ing. Peter Jost, who took over the business in 1975 from his father Toni. In his honor was broken with the tradition of naming the operation in each case according to the current owner.
