2017 Winkel Hasensprung Riesling Erstes Gewächs, Rheingau, Germany

Vegetal nose, earthy traces, citrus fruit with a hint of peaches, hint of petrol. Slightly muted, sweetish fruit on the palate, vegetal and earthy notes, fairly prominent acidity, astringent tannins, floral, vegetaland herbaceous notes in the background, fairly prominent mineral notes, slightly persistent, licht acid bite, astringent notes on a sweet and sour finish.

Editor note: Nose still very slightly reductive, light nutty, spicy oak, light vegetal and herbaceous notes, citrus and stone fruit, mineral notes, very light volatile and lactic notes. Fairly firm, sweetish fruit on the palate, fairly prominent acidity, fresh vegetal and herbaceous aromas, delicate hint of bnlack berries, salty notes in the background, good persistence and grip, lemony notes, some bite on a good to very good sweetish, tart finish.
