2016 Wagram Ried Dorner Grüner Veltliner Grande Réserve halbtrocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Hint of bacon and a touch of yellow spice on the nose, ripe, partly candied yellow fruit, hint of dried flowers, mineral notes. Ripe, sweetish, warm, creamy, partly preserved and candied fruit on the palate, light butty traces, hinr of smoked bacon, moderate acidity, ripe tannins provide grip, good substance and persistence, some depth, hint of tobacco in the background, light toasted notes and some vanilla, some more yellow spice, very good, fairly complex, juicy, sweetish finish.
