2017 Wawern Goldberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Still very slightly reductive, rather cool scent of citrus fruits, stone fruit and a little apple with fine floral, hinted yellow-spicy, white-peppery and clearly mineral notes as well as delicate resinous-herbal aromas. Firm and sweetish-juicy in the mouth, lively acidity and fine tannins, clearly fresh-herbal and slightly floral aromas, persistent and grippy on the palate, blueberries in the background, also rather dark mineral, good depth, has power, very good, firm, juicy and mineral finish with herbal notes as well as floral and again black berry tones.
