The winery is located in the municipality of Lengenfeld in the Lower Austrian wine region Kamptal, The name is made up of Vino (Italian for wine) and the initial letters of the company founder Herfried Kuna (active in viticulture for over 30 years) and Florian Subosics (graduate of the agricultural technical school with a personal focus on "organic farming"). Natural, carbon dioxide-neutral materials such as wood and straw were mainly used in the construction of the new production hall using passive energy. The energy for cooling the tanks or heating the building is obtained by exchanging heat with deep wells. The entire company is bio-controlled and certified. Only biologically sound and GMO-free materials are used in production. Only the white wine variety Grüner Veltliner is processed. The various Grüner Veltliners are fermented and expanded in steel tanks and as Lower Austria quality wine in bottle sizes of 0.75 liter, half liter and 1.5 liter magnums bottled.
