2001 Kanzem Altenberg Riesling, Mosel, Germany

Firm mineral notes, aromas of citrus fruit, green apples and pineapple. Clean, firmly woven fruit, just a hint of sweetness, crisp, elegant acidity, piquant, herbs and spices, tart mineral notes on the palate, concentrated, quite persistent, still appears very young, good length. Needs a few more months to develop.
