2009 Ockfen Bockstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Vegetable to herbaceous and slightly floral citrus stone fruit scent with a touch of candy and smoky mineral tones. Ripe, juicy, somewhat warm and melt-in-the-mouth, partly candied fruit, very fine acidity, again herbaceous-vegetable aromas, lasting, certain depth, intense minerality, certain spiciness, very good, firm, juicy finish with a touch. In excellent condition, much better than expected - and still a long way from the end
