The estate is located in the commune of Bissersheim (Mittelhaardt area / Deutsche Weinstraße) in the German wine-growing region palatinate, The Wageck family has been based here for centuries, and viticulture was founded by Wilhelm Wageck. The Wageck-Pfaffmann winery was established in 1973 when Gunter Pfaffmann from Walsheim near Landau married into the company. The two sons Frank and Thomas Pfaffmann rose after completing their studies at the university of applied sciences Geisenheim into the company and are now the fifth generation to manage it.

The vineyards cover 58 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers of Goldberg, Held, Orlenberg and Steig (Bissersheim), Steinacker (Kirchheim an der Weinstrasse), as well as Burgweg and Osterberg (Großkarlbach).
