2016 Bissersheim Spätburgunder trocken Geisberg, Pfalz, Germany

Clear, firm, quite deep and very polished nose, red and black berries with cherry notes and a hint of pomegranate, floral traces, nutty oak, peppery and herbaceous nuances. Still undeveloped, tightly knit, again very polished fruit with fresh juice and some chocolaty wood spice, peppery and herbal nuances, very fine, firm, youthful tannins, still very young, noticeable acid bite, clearly salty in the background, spicy nuances, very good, multi-layered, very fine finish with pure, cool juice and plenty of tension.
