The estate is located in the municipality Nordheim (area Maindreieck) in the German wine-growing region Franconia
, It was founded in 1985 by Waldemar and Heidi Braun. Son Patrick is responsible for the cellar. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards in the individual Kirchberg (Volkach), Rosenberg
(Escherndorf), as well as Kreuzberg and little bird
(Nordheim) with the white varieties Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Bacchus, Riesling, Kerner, Scheurebe, Rieslaner, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, and the red varieties Domina, Pinot Noir and Schwarzriesling.
The management of the vine takes place according to the guidelines of natural viticulture. Quality criteria are low yields, selective harvest, careful processing of the grapes, intensive pre-clarification of the must and controlled fermentation. The white wines are made in stainless steel, the red wines in large oak barrels and in oak barrels. In suitable years also noble sweet Beerenauslese as well as ice wines are pressed. All wines are bottled with screw cap. It also produces sparkling wines, bottle-fermented sect and spirits (pomace, yeast, wine, apple, pear).
