2015 Kamptal DAC Ried Gaisberg Riesling Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Tart nose, light dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, restrained citrus and pomaceous fruit, traces of exotic fruit, some root vegetable, hint of mustard seed, spinach, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, herbaceous and light peppery aromas, hint of tobacco, lively acidity, fine sandy tannins, light floral notes, dark earthy and salty mineral notes, persistent, firm grip, slightly rustic style, noticeable black pepper in the background, slightly sweetish and creamy, hint of soup stock on a good finish.
