Spicy, smoky oak on the nose, dried herbs and light floral notes, black and red berries, hint of tobacco, mineral traces. Tart fruit on the palate, hint of bacon, slightly bitter, sooty oak, fairly prominent, slightlyastringent fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, good persistence, noticeable warm alcohol, herbaceous aromas in the background, light peppery notes and some coffee grounds, mineral traces, some depth, good to very good finish.
