2018 Scheurebe trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm nose, light yeasty, vegetal and herbaceous notes, hint of bacon, tart yellow fruit with prominent citrus notes, delicate floral aromas. Light-bodied, cool, fairly tart, very light fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, light tannic grip, fairly persistent, chalky, salty mineral notes, hint of dark berries in the background, good to very good finish.
