2002 Neusiedlersee joweel, Burgenland, Austria

Medium-intense nose with fairly mature berries, whiffs of green oak, dried red fruit and rubber. Medium-bodied, still relatively youthful, fairly prominent, slightly juicy red berry fruit, has some persistence and backbone, slightly sweet fruit and oak, some raisins in the background, integrated tannins, attractive to good finish.
