2017 Silvaner Landwein trocken Der Held, Main, Germany

Fairly cool, firm, rather restrained nose, still has prominent yeasty notes, light floral and delicate nutty notes, delicate hint of bacon, dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, citrus fruit, light earthy traces. Fairly firm, polished, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, yeasty notes, some yellow spice, elegant, lively acidity, restrained, integrated tannins, some cardamom, pepper and juniper, good substance and persistence, hint of sugar candy, light chalky and salty mineral notes, some depth, elegant minty traces on a very good, cool, elegantly spicy finish.
