2015 Neusiedlersee DAC Ried Obere Heidäcker Zweigelt Reserve trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Tart nose, slightly smoky oak, predominantly dark berries and cherries, earthy and nutty notes, some dried mushrooms. Preserved, slightly warm fruit on the palate, prominent toasted, spicy oak, some cvocoa and tobacco, sweetish and creamy, predominantly integrated tannins, dried mushrooms in the background, umami, noticeable warm alcohol, sweetish and jammy, more smoky, spicy oak and chocolate on a good to very good finish.
